All too frequently, women's presence in the sporting arena is marginalised and rarely are women's experiences heard and analysed. Drawing on a diversity of women's perspectives and theoretical standpoints, this book focuses upon the neglected process of research with women about 'sport'. All contributors to this collection have drawn on their research to illuminate and illustrate the dilemmas and issues involved in researching women's lives.
